The next few weeks can potentially drive significant moves in the FX space. We have quarter-end flows to contend with, alongside the reciprocal tariffs that are slated to go into effect on April 2nd.

Beyond this, we have other macro themes that could become more pronounced. This includes the potential for US rates pricing to become less dovish, the next leg lower (or relief rally continuation) for US equities, the Turkey tantrum, a spring budget for the UK and much more.

As a result, we wanted to run through some of our favourite hedging ideas for the coming month. Most are designed to protect an initial position, but we also throw in some speculative hedges for good measure.

Bloomberg IB Service Launch

We’re excited to formally launch our Macro Movers intraday service, which Terminal users can sign up for now.

The MM IB chat provides users with timely snippets of information that we deem insightful and geared towards front-office personnel. This includes charts, analysis of breaking news stories, ideas we like, and, of course, the occasional meme.

For existing

AlphaPicks
Substack paid users, this value add is free. Simply DM us or email us (research@alphapicks.co.uk) to be added.

For existing free Substack users with terminal access, we’re offering a free one-month trial to the MM IB chat. Again, please DM or email us to get added. Following the trial, the cost is $20 a month, which also gets you paid access to our main page, AlphaPicks Substack content (not APFX Research).
